Opened in 2020, Brewpoint is the third brewery in Bedford from Charles Wells Ltd having previously held sites at Horne Lane (now Riverside North) from 1876 – 1976 and then the Eagle Brewery in Queen’s Park from 1976 – 2017.
We are fiercely proud of our Bedford roots and our connection with the community stretches back nearly 150 years and work in partnership with many local sports teams and community groups. Indeed, most of our 170 pubs are located in Bedfordshire where you will find our latest beers, brewed at our state-of-the-art brewery.
Wells & Co. remains an independent family-run business, with Pete Wells, the great-great-grandson of Charles and Josephine Wells, at the helm.
